INTERNSHIP - Rheology Engineer (M/F)

About the Role

Within the Engineering Design & Development department, you will be responsible for developing and improving our technical tools. You will work in particular on the post-processing of measurements from injection tests and the correlation between injection and finite element injection simulations, as well as on automating the creation of calculation models, report generation, and standardization of methods.

 

Start date: February 2026 

Duration: Ideally 6 months 

 

Main topic: Continuous improvement of rheology analysis tools (injection simulation).

 

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Use, understand, and analyze the current tools used within the Injection & Tooling department.

  • Gather feedback from tool users within the department (global network).

  • Define an improvement plan for the tools and implement it.

  • Write methodologies and participate in the deployment of the updated tools.

 

About You

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Plastics Engineering.

  • Advanced level of English (B2/C1).

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, especially with macros.

  • Knowledge and experience with numerical simulation software (Moldflow, Cadmould) and CAD software (NX/Catia).

  • Knowledge of programming (VBA, Python 3.0) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with the plastic injection process, its simulation, mechanics, and materials.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with project teams and the global network.

  • Curious, autonomous, and adaptable, with the ability to integrate well into a team.

Additional advantage: Willingness to continue the internship as an International Volunteer in Business (VIE) in one of our technical branches abroad.
