Job Description

Within the Engineering Product Validation department, you will contribute to the validation of recycled materials by performing analyses, optimizing bonding methods, and setting up testing procedures.

Duration:
3 years 

 

Main responsibilities:

• Conduct bibliographic research
• Perform physicochemical analyses of recycled materials
• Optimize bonding validation methods specific to recycled materials
• Perform statistical analysis of data
• Study customer specifications and requirements
• Define technical needs for recycled material validation
• Set up and perform testing procedures
• Implement standard operating procedures 

 

Candidate profile:

• You are preparing a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Materials Chemistry
• You have an intermediate level of English (B1)
• You have knowledge of polymer characterization methods: FTIR, microscopy, DSC, TGA, and rheometry
• You have knowledge of mechanical characterization methods such as tensile testing
• You have good computer skills, including intermediate-level Excel proficiency
• You have strong communication skills and are comfortable working in a team
• You are organized, rigorous, and have strong analytical, critical, and synthesis skills 

 

Location: Sigmatech – Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (40 km from Lyon, carpooling available)
