JOB DESCRIPTION

Based at OPmobility's international R&D center, your role will focus on applying 3D AI models to optimize Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) simulations for bumper and tailgate product validations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and create a database
• Perform static (Abaqus) or crash simulation (Radioss)
• Train the AI 3D geodesic convolutional models
• Deploy the models and evaluate its performances with end-user application  

PROFILE

• Graduate or undergraduate student (BAC+4/5) pursuing degree in CAE, mechanics, or plastics engineering
• Experience with deep learning and optimization methods
• Experience with Python
• Initiation deep learning is a plus
• Knowledge of one or several of the following software is a plus: Abaqus, Radioss, Hypermesh.
• Good communication skills, team spirit

DURATION

6-month internship starting January/February 2025

Sigmatech, Plastic Omnium, Sainte-Julie 01150 (30kms from Lyon, carpooling possible)

COMPENSATION
