JOB DESCRIPTION

Based at OPmobility’s international R&D center, you will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting project focused on researching and developing sealing solutions for plastic automotive components.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify sealing solutions for plastic automotive components.
  • Implement tests to evaluate the performance of the proposed solutions.
  • Analyze test results and adjust solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct a benchmark on existing solutions in the market.
  • Ensure effective and transparent communication between our suppliers, members of your future team, and other internal and external stakeholders involved in the project

 

You will work alongside global suppliers, Validation Engineers, and experts from our on-site Pilot Line.

 

PROFILE

  • Graduate student (BAC +5) pursuing Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or similar field
  • Knowledge mechanics and materials
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Word & Excel
  • Possesses advanced levels of fluency in English and French
  • Strong communication and synthesis skills
  • Organized, rigorous and analytical mindset
  • Collaborative team player
  • Curious and dynamic

 

DURATION

6-month internship starting January/February 2025

 

LOCATION

Sigmatech - Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (30 km from Lyon - carpooling options are available).

 

COMPENSATION

Calculated according to level of degree | +company restaurant subsidy + transportation allowance + Access to on-site sports gym
