JOB DESCRIPTION 

Based at OPmobility's international R&D center, you will be supervised by our Senior Materials Expert and contribute to our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy by maximizing the use of material from End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) integrated into our car body parts.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Material Engineers in identifying needs
  • Perform characterization tests within our on-site laboratory
  • Conduct analyses on these tests
  • Capitalize and share the results of your analyses with the international team of Material Engineers
  • Actively participate in defining requirements and contribute to the development of strong partnerships with our suppliers

 

The missions may evolve depending on the candidate's profile and project progress.

 

PROFILE

  • Graduate student pursuing Master's degree in Plastics Engineering / Master's in Materials Science and Engineering or related field
  • Sensitivity to issues related to recycled materials and passion for sustainable innovation
  • Advanced level of English proficiency (B2 / C1)
  • Good knowledge of numerical simulation tools (such as Moldflow/Catia)
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools - PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Good communication and synthesis skills
  • Team player
  • Curious, creative, and dynamic

 

DURATION

6-month internship starting from January 2025.

 

LOCATION

Sigmatech - Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (30 km from Lyon - carpooling options are available).

 

 

COMPENSATION

Calculated according to level of degree | +company restaurant subsidy + transportation alllowance + Access to on-site sports gym
