JOB DESCRIPTION
Based within the Engineering Product Validation department at OPmobility, you will actively participate in the development of a glue characterization method. Your mission will be to accurately determine the cohesion build-up of glues, an essential element to ensure the quality and durability of our assemblies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct a literature review on glue chemistry and their cohesion
- Develop a testing protocol to characterize the cohesion of glues at different temperatures
- Implement the characterization method and validate it
- Manage experimental tests in our on-site laboratory (sample preparation, test execution and data analysis)
- Analyze the results of these tests and establish correlations between these characterizations and the processing conditions at our production sites
- Present your results during discussions with cross-functional teams
- Write a detailed technical report summarizing your findings
PROFILE
- Graduate student (BAC+5) pursuing degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar field
- Knowledge of materials chemistry and experimental characterization
- Understanding of the mechanical and physicochemical properties of adhesives
- Past experience in adhesion and bonding would be a plus
- Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Word & Excel
- Possesses advanced levels of fluency in English and French
- Strong communication and synthesis skills
- Organized, rigorous and analytical mindset

DURATION
6-month internship starting February/March 2025

Sigmatech - Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (30 km from Lyon - carpooling options are available).
COMPENSATION
