Contract

• Type of contract: Full-time / Permanent.
• Business Group: Exteriors Plant San Luis Potosí / Industrial Engineering.
• Scope: Local position with strong cross-functional interaction across Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Approve direct labor requirements.
• Manage engineering changes.
• Support new program launches.
• Conduct time and motion studies for new processes and when process changes occur.
• Update SAP work content for labor efficiency calculations.
• Develop and implement line balancing activities to exceed customer expectations and reduce non-value-added activities.
• Implement, update, and maintain process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Standardized Work Instructions, Visual Aids, and related documentation.
• Develop plant and process layouts using AutoCAD software.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Value-Added / Non-Value-Added analysis.
• Define and establish the optimal production process flow.
• Design ergonomic material racks that meet process requirements.
• Develop and implement procedures in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement ideas and suggestions related to Quality, Process Improvement, Safety, and Environmental Management.
• Provide support in resolving daily issues reported in production processes and support areas.
• Actively participate in initiatives related to the Integrated Management System and support the closure of nonconformities as required.
• Review and maintain customer portals.
• Participate in the development of new programs.
• Perform plant capacity calculations.

Specific Duties

• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Value-Added / Non-Value-Added methodologies.
• Participate in Layered Process Audits.
• Participate in structured problem-solving activities and continuous improvement projects.
