BU INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY DESIGN PROFESSIONAL -
Responsibilities:
Activity 1 : Lead Development of HPV from process development
• Lead the definition, implementation, and validation of solutions of HPV manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Provide technical support to global plants for equipment deployment, upgrades, and process optimization.
Activity 2 : Support plants in Asia & China TC with new capacity requirements, process improvements, training
• When needed, give specific plant support (installation of additional equipment, capacity increase, process issues and troubleshooting)
• Define & organize training on process and equipment topics
• Assist plants with process troubleshooting, capacity expansion and equipment upgrades.
• Develop and deliver technical training related to processes and equipment.
• Create documentation and training materials for plant teams and engineering staff.
Activity 3 : React to crisis situations requiring dedicated support :
• Provide expertise support to sites in critical operational situation such as serious quality problems, potential field actions, machine
• Efficiency issues threatening launch readiness or production capacity, and others as needed
• Contribute to efficiency improvement action plans as needed
• Provide hands-on help in order to solve most urgent issues
• Operates according to the procedure/instructions and forms described in ISO 9001- ECE R110, EC R79 and ECE R134
Activity 4 : Training & Process Standards
• Define and standardize key manufacturing processes and operating procedures.
• Organize and deliver technical training for operators, engineers, and support teams.
• Develop training materials and process documentation for global rollout.
• Act as a reference for best practices in composite vessel manufacturing.
Activity 5: Adapt and develop industrial engineering tools to composite manufacturing processes
• Adapt the PFIVIEA, DFM&A to the composite manufacturing processes (filament winding, material mixing and others)
• Develop training support documents for plants and development teams
Activity 6: Drive technical innovation, capex localization and performance improvement
• Propose and implement innovative solutions in order to reduce equipment cost, operational costs while ensuring the quality of the
• composite ma manufacturing processes
• Ensure permanent tech watch in order to get state-of-the-art equipment
• Audit equipment suppliers ; manage the supplier panel in cooperation with the purchasing department
• Support the purchasing department in make or buy analysis
• Work in close collaboration with purchasing and process machinery eng to ensure right localization of machine in low cost country as in china
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in mechanical and/or automation engineering.
• Practical experience in plastic processing, including thermoplastics, composite
• Manufacturing knowledge
• Proven record of industrial project management
• 5 years of experience in the field
• Must be fluent in English
• Advanced knowledge of Plastic molding process ; composite manufacturing process
• Knowledge in Machinery Design: Mechanical, electrical, controls
• Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide corrective action
• Basic knowledge of Quality system and processes
• Excellent verba l, written communication skills
• Must be flexible, dependable, and creative
• lvlust have strong and-alytical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Frequent travel is required according to project schedules and plant support needed
