COUNTRY ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT DESIGN PROFESSIONAL -

Responsibility 1 : Design of system

  • Definition of hydrogen system including product specifications, customer specifications (standards, design guidelines, environment)
  • Lead and coordinate the India CAD team to achieve the CAD tasks from global project
  • Be compliant with industrial processes (blowmolding, milling, turning, machining, composites) searching for the best compromise between technical and economical point.

Responsibility 2 : Studies & design calculations

  • Managing studies linked to product definition (calculation sheets, stack up, calculation) and integrating results from simulation
  • Being the owner of design deliverables (3D and drawings) following quality and timings to respect project deadlines.

Responsibility 3 : Design of components

  • Functional definition of components in relation with suppliers and other services (industrial, component development engineers, laboratories)
 Responsibility 4 : Quality & standardization
  • Strict application of PO NE design rules and specific to the project including all procedures, instruction and formular linked to design activity (CAD sheet, validation forms, part numbering, PLM standards, etc)
  • Participate to implementation of CAD design standards (design guideline, procedures)
  • Being actor of the development of standard CAD features to be reused on future projects (storage of component in CAD libraries, development of CAD User defined feature stored in CAD Catalogs)
  • Provide lesson learned related to CAD engineering work to other team members
 
Requirements:
 
  • Master of the CAD design tool (CATIA V5, NX)
  • ISO tolerancing / stack up
  • Experience in material studies, related to high pressure vessels is a plus.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical
  • Solid and deep understanding of the CAD design
  • Experience with patent writing and filing & technical information search.
  • Understand High Pressure Vessel design constraints applied to hydrogen.
  • Understand design for manufacturing.
  • As a plus, Good knowledge of Blow Molding, Welding, Robotics, Filament winding
  • Ability to work efficiently.
  • Ability to find tradeoffs.
  • Open minded, can think out of the box.
  • Delivers clear and easy to understand information.
  • Comfortable communicating to different types of audiences, upwards and downwards.  
  • English full proficiency and fluent in Chinese language. French is a plus.
  • Being volunteering for manual labor in the laboratory
