|
This role is responsible for the comprehensive industrial project planning and execution of new energy battery plants. Core responsibilities include industrial project management, capacity and cost planning, and production line efficiency optimization based on Industrial Engineering (IE) methodologies. The candidate will lead the entire process from new plant layout and production line design to mass production ramp-up, ensuring goals are achieved on time, with high quality, and within budget.

1. Industrial Project Management Lead or deeply participate in the planning and setup of new battery plants/production lines, responsible for layout planning and material/people flow optimization to ensure adherence to lean manufacturing principles. Manage the full project lifecycle, coordinate cross-functional resources (R&D, process, equipment, procurement, etc.), and drive timely problem resolution to ensure on-time delivery and smooth mass production. Oversee critical phases including kickoff, equipment design, equipment installation, commissioning, and trial runs; organize phase-gate reviews to ensure project delivery meets quality standards.
2. Industrial Planning & Cost Control Conduct capacity evaluation, equipment selection recommendations, and installation planning to maximize efficiency and flexibility. Lead Lean Production and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) analysis to systematically identify and eliminate waste (waiting, transport, over-processing, etc.) in the production process. Implement efficiency improvement and cost reduction projects by promoting automation, optimizing tooling/fixtures, and improving work methods to continuously reduce direct labor (DL) costs.
3. Time Study & Line Balance Develop detailed line balancing schemes and conduct time studies (e.g., MOD, stopwatch, MTM) to provide a data foundation for capacity planning and staffing. Establish and maintain the Standard Time system and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support production planning and cost accounting. Identify and resolve bottleneck processes during initial mass production; rapidly improve UPH and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through methods study, work analysis, and line balancing optimization.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Implementation Promotion Establish an efficient collaboration mechanism with production, technology, quality, procurement and equipment teams. Synchronize production line planning requirements, deliver optimization schemes, and promote closed-loop resolution of on-site problems. Collect frontline production feedback continuously, iterate and upgrade process schemes, and ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of all industrial engineering work.
