Main Missions
1/ Lead all engineering activities related to the development of high-pressure vessels and systems, ensuring full alignment with technical requirements.
2/ Act as the primary technical interface with internal (back office) and external (front office) customers across all technical aspects of the product line.
3/ Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, driving performance, engagement, and high-quality deliverables.
4/ Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with other departments (program management, quality, industrialization, sales, etc.).
5/ Lead internal High-Pressure Vessel developments up to Product and Process Readiness Levels, ensuring a robust handover to regional teams for further development and industrialization.
1/ Project Execution & Deliverables
- On-time delivery of program milestones, design reviews, and RFQ
- Adherence to project planning and commitments
- Accuracy and quality of project status reporting
2/ Cost & Budget Management
- Compliance with budget (engineering hours, OPC,…)
- Optimization of product and system costs to ensure competitiveness

- Optimal allocation and utilization of engineering resources

Activities:
Activity 1: Team Management
Manage and provide leadership to a diversified group of engineers and technicians who deliver product development support to the organization in a manner that meets the customers’ needs and technical requirements
- Provide management and leadership to a group of System Application Engineers, Vessel Engineers, Component Development Engineers, Simulation Engineers and CAD Technicians & Engineers.
- Assign duties and responsibilities.
- Manage resource allocation within the department.
- Ensure that group works together efficiently
- Motivate and develop employees.
- Comply with all work and safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Activity 2: Project Development
Ensure the good achievement of the product development within the organization, in a manner that meets the customers’ needs and technical requirements
- Provide development deliverables, in respect to Project and Development processes.
- Ensure Opmobility Business Group H2-power representation face to the customer for all technical aspects
- Support the engineering teams by providing technical direction, design & development tools.
- Organize engineering milestones through robust Product Reviews and Design Performance Reviews.
- Ensure the application of best practices and defined standards to achieve a robust product design.

Activity 3: Expertise and capitalization Management
Ensure Opmobility technical leadership
- Develop competencies/expertise of the department
- Ensure active application of best practices while participating to Lessons-Learned, 8D and DFMEA processes
- Contribute to the investigation and analysis of market and technology trends to support the company leadership
- Define, update & share knowledge capitalization tools within the teams
Activity 4: Development Process
- Promote use of Project Life Management (PLM)
- Generate required controlled documents
- Contribute to Processes improvement

Activity 5: Budget
- Develop, monitor and respect annual department budget, balancing available resources with business requirements

Activity 6: Collaboration
- As a member of the regional development organization, participate in establishing the overall strategic direction, in the country of the position, for the Product Line function.
- Develop strong partnerships with functional group managers and global directors to ensure a synergistic, cooperative working environment in the engineering community
