The Site Manufacturing Paint Professional ensures stable, high‑quality, and efficient painting processes on site, supports equipment reliability, and drives continuous improvement within the paint shop.You will report to the Paint Shop Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with Corporate and HSE and energy requirements.
  • Maintain perfect paint process parameters across the paint line (mix room, booth, atomizers, robots, and related systems).
  • Implement and maintain paint process control standards and share best practices within the painting network.
  • Stabilize and optimize painting performance (scrap, RFT, OEE).
  • Supervise external contractors performing maintenance or paint‑cleaning services, particularly during weekends.
  • Conduct and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Plan and perform maintenance on machinery and systems within the paint area.
  • Efficiently repair paint line equipment and auxiliaries during downtime.
  • Maintain and update paint‑related process documentation.
  • Support updates to the preventive maintenance plan.
  • Provide support and deliver training for Level 1 & 2 maintenance tasks.
  • Support colleagues when required (e.g., break coverage).
  • Lead jig/skid cleaning processes: scheduling, follow-up, quality checks, calibration, and ensuring proper condition of masking components.
  • Ensure proper execution and compliance of start‑up checklists to secure smooth production restarts.

 

Requirements

  • Technical certification in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic fields.
  • Experience with robotics and paint application processes.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial paint processes and systems.
  • At least 5 years’ experience maintaining large industrial equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with maintenance/production tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Process‑oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively
  • Fluent in German is mandatory, English at least base level
