Responsibilities
- Lead the paint development to achieve the expected quality levels in line with OEM specifications, while maintaining committed cost targets (paint consumption, paint scrap, number of parts per mast, etc.).
- Coordinate a cross‑functional team including plant teams, paint setting, laboratory, suppliers, and customers.
- Ensure paint process stability (both product and process) with regard to quality requirements.
- Monitor development activities and ensure conformity of specific painting equipment (e.g., jigs, masking stations).
- Manage technical relationships with paint raw material suppliers, including paint product validation through “Paint-In” activities and preparation of samples for first runs.
- Participate in the drafting of purchasing development charts.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree with experience or a Master’s degree.
- 5 years of experience in the paint field, chemistry, or processes within the automotive industry.
- Experience participating in project organization.
- Fluent in German and English
