Site Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary customer contact for all quality-related topics
- Drive structured problem solving using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and QRCM
- Ensure effective containment, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
- Define and release rework instructions and manage quality alerts when required
- Lead and support customer complaint analysis
- Support new product launches (APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, Run@Rate)
- Ensure adherence to control plans and conduct process audits (e.g., layered audits, VDA 6.3)
- Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, initiating continuous improvement measures
- Drive poka-yoke implementation and verification within production processes
- Lead and support quality technicians, ensuring training and a strong quality mindset
Profile:
- Degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification (university or technical college)
- Additional certification or training in quality management is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Quality, in automotive industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of core quality methods (FMEA, PPAP, APQP deliverables)
- Practical experience with quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, SPC
- Fluent in German (C1 level) is a must have
- Good level of English (minimum B2)
