  1. Manage purchase parts change control for post-launch programs: 

  • Support change control meeting for implementation of engineering changes 

  • Negotiate purchase parts pricing and tooling for engineering changes and capacity studies 

  • Responsible for supplier timing - tooling, PSW timing and parts delivery 

  • Prepare documents for Buyer award packages for design changes 

  • Responsible for issuing purchase orders and tool orders for engineering changes 

  1. Support DCRM activities: 

  • Support DCRM team meetings for follow up on implementation of cost savings ideas 

  • Responsible for managing purchase parts change control required to implement cost saving ideas 

  1. Support plant´s operation with resolution of issues related to suppliers: 

  • Lead commercial resolution of stop-ship situations 

  • Lead resolution of payment issues with suppliers 

  • Support plant MP&L teams to resolve delivery issues with suppliers 

  • Support plant quality teams to resolve quality issues with suppliers 

  • Make and support capacity studies and communicate them to program manager and implement additional actions if needed 

  1. Support commodity buyers with communication with plant´s teams on the following initiatives: 

  • Outsourcing 

  • Insourcing 

  • Resourcing 

  • Program refreshes 

  • Market tests /make/ buy studies 

  • Plant inventory reduction 

  • Service parts negotiation where supplier is not in long term strategy / coordination with service program   manager 

  • Cancellation cost recovery. Operations to lead with support from commodity. Dependent on program phase can be program or operations buyer 

  • Follow up on prototypes or samples  

  • Participate in the costing for the new potential projects under quotation for OEMS. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S): 

  • Master’s degree in commercial/economical field of study 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S): 

  • 2-3 years of experience in purchasing 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

  • The position is having an interaction with MP&L, Program management, Product deployment, SPE… 

  • English language at intermediate level minimum 

  • SAP software experience is advantage 

  • Willingness to learn 

  • Negotiation skills 

  • Teamwork support 

  • Must respect environment, health and safety rules, following ISO45001 & ISO14001 standards. 

  • Must respect 5s requirements. 

  • Must respect ethics and integrity policy 

  • Must wear required (PPE) Personal protective equipment on his position
