The Responsibilities of Quality Process Leader are:
- Quality Control Management:
- Lead the team responsible for quality inspection and ensure products meet specified quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Oversee the setup, calibration, and maintenance of quality control equipment and tools.
- Process Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement changes to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and lower costs.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and ISO/TS certifications (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance procedures, test results, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality reports for senior management, highlighting performance metrics, key findings, and improvement plans.
- Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to implement quality standards.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness, responsibility, and continuous learning across all levels of the production team.
- Customer and Supplier Collaboration:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials meet the required quality standards.
- Work with customers to resolve quality concerns and address product-related issues.
- Participate in customer audits and external inspections as required.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Utilize data analysis tools to assess product quality, track performance trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on quality metrics, KPIs, and process performance.
Requirements:

- Master’s degree or certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, IATF 16949) is a plus.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality management or process improvement in the automobile or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing quality control teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in the injection molding or lighting is a plus
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.).
- Expertise in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, failure mode analysis (FMEA), and control charts.
- Proficiency in quality tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
