The Responsibilities of the Material Planner are: 

  • Work with the inventory control and management system - corporate MRP. 

  • Maintain supplies of materials and parts within a specified range according to the MRP system and individual applications. 

  • Control the delivery of the delivery plans and send them copies on request to the suppliers. 

  • adjust the released orders according to unplanned requests. 

  • Negotiating supply schedules with vendors, control delivery and take action on pre-delivery or non-compliance. 

  • Eliminating problems with materials, parts and suppliers in written form by superior and individual departments according to established practices, propose and adopt corrective actions. 

  • Maintaining data integrity in the system, record of materials, parts, supplies and vendors, update data in the system. 

  • Checking ASN-electronic notifications of shipments in MRPs and applications requiring them from suppliers. 

  • Monitoring critical deliveries up to receipt of goods. 

  • Collaborating with the income of the goods in solving the quantitative differences in income, discuss the problems and deal with suppliers. 

  • Fulfill and record AETC - authorization for extraordinary carriage, agree in writing to the wearer of extra transport costs. 

  • Cooperating with the Entry Control Department to provide substitute supplies. 

  • Working with the purchasing department to resolve problems with vendors. 

  • Collaborating with plant logistics staff to check inventory status and make requests for cyclical inventories. 

  • Verifying shipping information about deliveries. 

  • Providing the necessary information for the customs declaration. 

  • Working with a supplier rating system guided by the appropriate manual.
