Activities

Health, Safety & Environment Management

• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs at site level.
• Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, employee engagement, and continuous awareness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate HSE standards, local legal requirements, and OPmobility policies.
• Monitor site HSE performance indicators and develop action plans to achieve established objectives.
• Support site management in driving continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental results.

Occupational Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 requirements and support the maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are identified and implemented.
• Coordinate incident, accident, near-miss and unsafe condition investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor safety KPIs, including accident frequency rate, severity rate, near misses, and corrective action closure.
• Coordinate safety inspections, workplace assessments and behavioral safety observations.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to occupational health and safety.
• Promote emergency preparedness activities, including drills, training and emergency response plans.
• Coordinate Safety Committee activities and support employee participation in safety initiatives.
• Deliver and coordinate HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Support ergonomics assessments and workplace improvement initiatives.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.

Environmental Management

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, licenses and Corporate environmental requirements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 requirements.
• Monitor environmental aspects and impacts associated with site operations.
• Coordinate waste management, recycling programs, resource consumption monitoring and pollution prevention initiatives.
• Support environmental audits, inspections and corrective action plans.
• Monitor compliance with environmental objectives and sustainability targets.

Energy Management

• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 50001 requirements.
• Monitor site energy consumption and performance indicators.
• Identify and implement energy efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate site energy-saving initiatives and monitor associated action plans.
• Support carbon footprint reduction initiatives and monitor Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
• Participate in energy audits and energy performance reviews.

Audits & Compliance

• Coordinate site preparation for ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 internal and external audits.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits are effectively implemented.
• Maintain HSE management system documentation, records and performance evidence.
• Support regulatory inspections and ensure timely response to findings.

Sustainability & Continuous Improvement

• Support implementation of Corporate sustainability initiatives and Top Planet objectives.
• Promote environmental, safety and energy best practices across the site.
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to HSE performance.
• Track and communicate site sustainability, safety and environmental performance to management.

Reporting & Performance Management

• Consolidate and report HSE, Energy and Environmental KPIs.
• Monitor achievement of site objectives and action plans.
• Prepare periodic HSE performance reports for site leadership and regional teams.
• Communicate progress, risks and opportunities related to Safety, Environment and Energy management.
