About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SILS Manager to take full operational responsibility for our two Slovak SILS operations located in Trnava and Nitra. This is a complex, customer‑facing leadership role that ensures seamless Supply, Inventory, Logistics, and Systems performance across both sites.

You will act as the main point of contact for Stellantis (Trnava) and Jaguar Land Rover (Nitra), ensuring exceptional service, accurate planning, and efficient production support. As part of the Plant Management Team, you will actively contribute to operational strategy, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives across SILS activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interface & Strategic Planning

  • Serve as the primary contact for Stellantis (Trnava) and JLR (Nitra) for all SILS‑related topics.
  • Lead volumes planning, including regular reviews of anticipated volume changes, shutdown periods, and incremental build schedules.
  • Ensure accurate SILS production planning, covering materials, WIP, headcount, and capacity requirements.
  • Proactively manage customer concerns and coordinate resolution of internal and external quality issues.
  • Address operational topics linked to workforce planning, cost flexibility, and adjustments based on volume fluctuations.

Operational Leadership Across Trnava & Nitra

  • Provide end‑to‑end oversight of day‑to‑day SILS operations across two SK sites.
  • Ensure alignment of processes, KPIs, and performance standards across both locations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency in logistics, materials flow, and inventory accuracy.

New Programs & Engineering Changes

  • Collaborate closely with Project Teams during new program launches and engineering change management.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new components, processes, and systems into SILS operations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work in close partnership with LOZ Plant support functions on:
    • WIP & component planning
    • Min/max stock level management
    • Maintenance interventions
    • Internal & external logistics coordination
  • Actively support LOZ Plant operations by participating in logistics projects, optimization initiatives, and CI programs.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Own and track all SILS‑related KPIs for Trnava and Nitra.
  • Provide clear, regular reporting to plant leadership and stakeholders.
  • Implement corrective actions and improvement measures when deviations occur.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop operational teams within both locations.
  • Ensure training, cross‑skilling, and robust planning of human resources.
  • Foster a culture of reliability, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or similar operational roles.
  • Experience in managing multi‑site operations or high‑complexity environments.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven team management and development experience.
  • Excellent customer‑facing skills, ideally with automotive sector exposure.
  • Advanced planning, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Very good knowledge of ERP / WMS systems (SAP preferred).
  • Fluent English; Slovak or other regional languages are a plus.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with OEMs (Stellantis, JLR, VW, Hyundai, etc.).
  • Background in Lean/CI methodologies.
  • Strong coordination experience with cross‑functional teams and project launches.
