Activities
Safety, Standards & Compliance
• Ensures the implementation of safety rules and the application of POAE standards.
• Guarantees the health and safety of the project team and ensures respect for environmental requirements.
• Applies and enforces procedures across plant sites.
• Ensures equipment compliance with CE norms.
Project Leadership & Coordination
• Leads a multidisciplinary team including building, injection, paint, assembly, supply chain, IT, finance, purchasing and operations.
• Coordinates all phases of the project according to OPTIPRO methodology (from advanced phase through performance achievement).
• Ensures the OPTIPRO Project Plan aligns with the agreed project scope and DAI.
• Validates core team actions and progress in line with the project schedule.
• Identifies deviations from the Project Plan and implements corrective actions to realign.
Cross-Functional Communication
• Acts as the key interface between the plant, management and the project team.
• Analyzes capacity needs and proposes industrial schemes aligned with divisional strategy.
• Establishes and manages the master project timing plan, consolidating each core team member’s planning.
Performance, Risk & Reporting
• Responsible for overall project performance and achievement of M2 milestone targets (CAPEX, schedule, hours, cash flow).
• Organizes “Project Reviews” with all core team members to monitor status and action plans.
• Identifies, updates and manages project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Monitors each core team member’s reporting and manages escalation of risks.
• Provides periodic project progress and risk updates to the Director of Programs.
• Prepares and presents milestone reports to the OPTIPRO Milestone Committee.
• Conducts end‑of‑project performance review and documents lessons learned.
Financial Management & Supplier Interface
• Ensures financial control of the project budget, cash flow and profitability using standard project management tools.
• Supports supplier bidding and selection with the purchasing department.
• Manages internal/external perimeter changes and ensures project budget (hours, investments, expenses) is updated.
• Tracks all development expenditures versus planned budget, identifies deviations and takes corrective actions.
• Manages cash flow and is the sole project authority to authorize supplier payments per PO procedures and terms.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business.
• Strong experience managing industrial projects.
• Ability to work in an international environment; proficiency in 1–2 additional languages preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; proactive, collaborative and analytical.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
