As a Blowmolding Project Leader, you’ll drive the installation, upgrade, and optimization of blowmolding equipment across our global operations. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize processes, implement best practices, and deliver high-performance manufacturing solutions that support innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Equipment Projects: Oversee the installation, relocation, and upgrade of blowmolding equipment, ensuring alignment with internal standards and continuous improvement goals.
  • Standardization & Best Practices: Develop and implement best practices across the machine portfolio, including PLC logic, safety circuits, and sensor integration.
  • Technical Specifications & R&D: Define technical specs for new manufacturing solutions, support R&D efforts, and use simulations to optimize designs.
  • Project Management: Coordinate RFQs, manage budgets, and supervise project execution from planning to commissioning.
  • Supplier & Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing and importation teams to streamline component sourcing and shipping timelines.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Assist plants in resolving equipment, process, and quality issues using root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to global standardization by documenting and sharing technical knowledge and lessons learned.
  • Travel: Be prepared for extensive travel (up to 75%) to support project execution across sites.

Integrated Management System (IMS)

As a leader, you’ll ensure your team is trained and compliant with all Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our IMS processes.

  • Process Engineering
  • Plant Maintenance & Process Teams
  • Industrial Team Members

External:

  • Equipment Suppliers (e.g., Bemaco, Rafo, Kautex, Bekum, KEB, Octagon)
  • Contractors (riggers, electricians, mechanical teams)

Performance Metrics

  • Blowmolding Machine Metrics (BMM) OEE
  • Time to deploy machine changes and upgrades

Background & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in large-part industrial blowmolding
  • Strong knowledge of plastic materials (HDPE, EVOH, adhesives)
  • Familiarity with controls and automation systems
  • Proven troubleshooting and commissioning experience
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%)

Technical & Soft Skills

  • Ability to write clear technical specifications and commissioning documentation
  • Strong communication skills, including working with international teams
  • Energetic, positive, and solutions-oriented—even under pressure
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
