Job title: Site Industrial and Machinery Design Engineer

 

Location: Adrian, MI, U.S.A., OPmobility C-Power USA, LLC.

 

Job duties: Engineer and develop automated manufacturing and industrial control process solutions, supporting new business development for fuel systems and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) HDPE urea tanks. Engineer, design, and support manufacturing equipment procurement and installation in accordance with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) protocols. Integrate, implement, improve and troubleshoot automated plant systems including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and PLC-based machinery and equipment systems using Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal PLC and Allen Bradley architectures, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) modules, using WinCC Unified, WinCC flexible, ProTool, and Wonderware tools, for production team members to interact with production machinery. Engineer, design, and implement robotic cells (ABB, Universal, and Fanuc); Siemens Motion Control systems; 3D machine vision/scanning systems (Cognex, Keyence, and VS Keyence); servo systems (SIMODRIVE); and plant communication networks including Ethernet, MPI/DP, PROFIBUS/PROFINET, and DeviceNet.

 

Education: Bachelor, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related.

 

Experience: Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer, Design Engineer or related, integrating and troubleshooting automated plant systems including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and PLC-based machinery systems using Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal PLC architectures, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) modules, using WinCC Unified or WinCC flexible and Wonderware tools, for production team members to interact with production machinery, or related.
