Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the accounting team, supervising daily operations, and ensuring compliance with statutory accounting and group reporting standards.
• Overseeing all accounting processes, including cash, bank, supplier, contractor, and customer accounts.
• Reconciling general ledger accounts and managing the monthly closing process.
• Collaborating with other finance departments to maintain an accurate Chart of Accounts and General Ledger.
• Preparing and presenting financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow) and submitting reports to group finance.
• Ensuring timely and accurate submission of official declarations to tax authorities and social security institutions.
• Conducting regular bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Developing and implementing efficient accounting procedures.
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in similar role, with experience in supervising a team.
• Fluent in English and Turkish
• Deep knowledge of local laws and tax regulations.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of statutory accounting rules and IFRS.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills to drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
