Senior Control Unit Engineer
MISSION
Responsible of the component validation team:
- Leads and coordinates all component validations activities
- Leads and owns tools, methods and processes for component validation.
RESPONSABILITIES
Responsibility 1: Coordination of the ECU Validation & Development team
- Ensure that the team delivers on time and with high level of quality the deliverables as committed to the project
- Follow up the component development & validation progress on projects team (bugs, non-conformities,…)
- Manage the traceability of ECU under development & testing and the specific needs of validation phase
- Ensure the bench configurations are well updated according to software versions (Canoe, Canape) and ensure the automated benches are properly updated
- Deliver monthly report
- Ensure the compliance with processes related to Mechatronics, IATF and OPmobility Corporate quality standards
- Make sure that lessons learned & best practices are applied and share them with the whole team
- Ensure a proper communication & good intimacy with ECU suppliers
Responsibility 2: Expertise
- Solve technical SW issues & bugs, perform Risk assessment for bugs found during validation
- Participate to the development of innovation programs (fast prototyping,…)
- Software
Responsibility 3: Process improvement
- Put in place tools and methods to improve quality and efficiency
- Manage and improve the process for component validation team
- Define and adjust KPI in order to have good monitoring of the team’s activities.
PROFIL
Personal Background
- Automotive industry,
- Knowledge in IATF, SPICE
- Knowledge in OBD, Automotives standards (IUMPR, FOM, etc)
Job Technical skills
- Strong experience in Automotive, ECUs, Actuators, Sensors
- More than 5 years experience in Software,AUTOSAR, Simulink Models, UDS, CAN
- Strong experience in CAN tools such as CANoé, CANape (Vector tools), Diagnostics tools, script, datamining
- Strong experience in Validation, HIL, MIL
Job Soft skills
- Fluent in English
- Good in communication, reporting
