COUNTRY HR MANAGER - KOREA
Main Mission:
Develop the robustness of our HRIS tools and HR processes by ensuring excellence in application by all stakeholders within the New Energies Korea
Lead and shape the HR function within the New Energies Korea
Support New Energies Korea HR network to provide reliable and relevant data and analysis to the management and to the Group.
All of these processes are managed in close collaboration with the HR teams, at Division and Group levels.
Responsibilities:
Hiring & Onboarding
• Understand business trends, objectives and requirements, in order to fulfill headcount planning requirements as per business and headcount reporting forecast.
• Together with business leaders, anticipate turnover concerns or organization evolution and work on the appropriate plan of action.
• Be responsible for job descriptions recording and accuracy: content updated as per current duties of incumbent & format in line with company templates.
• Coordinate work with external hiring agencies, with ability to brief on company’s culture and jobs’ requirements and establishing efficient collaboration and relationship.
• Coordinate with anticipation a precise and pragmatic onboarding plan for each new hire in collaboration with the respective business manager and in association with rest of HR team and other departments.
Training
• Orchestrate the yearly training plan: budget, process, training delivery.
• Leverage performance appraisal, people review and management feedback to establish individual training requirements.
• Establish qualitative relationship with each department managers of Plant and Technical center and ensure HR department is seen as a key partner in the field of competency development and training coordination.
• Ability to stand in front of an audience and deliver training on HR processes or soft skills development
• Help in finding suitable learning solutions from internal and external offerings to meet training needs
• Monitor training ROI (return and investment) and review the result annually to assess the effectiveness
• Responsible for reporting training KPIs and management of training in HR systems (Learning Management Systems) and in audits
HR Regulations & Legal Compliance
• Set up/update/maintain those documents in compliance with country laws and company’s internal policies and rules.
• Apply a lean and pragmatic approach to avoid unnecessary profusion of documentation.
• Communicate regulations as appropriate to employees.
• Audit HR regulatory documents
HRIS & Systems
• Is responsible of HRIS administration and management: data accuracy and maintenance and leads the effort to reach a maximum data quality in systems to enable proper people analytics and strong business support.
• Contributes to the evolution of the HRIS tools in collaboration with the Group and other Divisions.
• Ensures quality of periodical reporting and scorecard for the Division and the Group. Contributes to its adaptation to HR & business needs.
• Facilitates Division HR network in collaboration with Regional HRIS & Systems Roles to ensure proper implementation of all HRIS & Systems processes, understanding and quality of outputs, by training, coaching, regular follow up.
Compensation & Benefits
• In collaboration with the Group Compensation & Benefits team, contributes to the deployment of the company’s compensation key processes: the Annual Salary Review and the Annual Bonus. This includes budget definition, data accuracy, communication and education of the HR and management teams.
• Provides overview on the existing Compensation & Benefits systems in place within the Division, develop cost control tools and methodology, deliver ad hoc studies and benchmark to ensure adequacy of systems in place towards local markets and compliance with local regulations and Group Policies.
• Payroll calculation and management
• Contributes to data preparation for C&B analysis and participation to domestic/international market surveys
• Participates to the Hay grading process
Controls & Systems Development
Develops insights to support HR decision-making process on people metrics, reporting and predictive people analytics.
Contributes to efficient and accurate budget preparation, financial reports and forecast are coordinated in a timely manner and in full collaboration with the finance department.
Participates in C&B/HRIS/HR Controlling projects or topics with the Group and region.
Profile:
Knowledge / Qualification
Basic knowledge of HR fields, processes and controlling
Practical experience in the field of compensations and benefits is good
Has operated in an international/global set up
Proficiency in English is a must in order to operate
Previous Experience (If relevant)
Automotive Industry or Manufacturing Industry
Key technical competencies
Good knowledge of HR standards
Strong knowledge and experience of HR Management
Basic understanding of the capabilities of Law
Key behavioral competencies (On top of PO Group competencies)
Ability to operate both at a detailed level as well as from an holistic perspective (“helicopter view”)
