MISSION

Main mission:

1. Ensure that IVC is performed correctly based on an annual plan previously defined
2. Ensure that all means at the IVC laboratory are working properly and calibrated
3. Promote and support IVC quality documentation
4. Support plants requests and search for additional technical information about the tests when needed
5. Manage QDA, configurations, standard QDA templates and new inspection plans
6. Ensure that the technical information for new products is available based on process established
7. Support to develop IVC as a center of excellence for functional and destructive tests

Responsibilities & Activities

Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including the related activities and eventual authorities

 Responsibility 1: Ensure that IVC is performed correctly based on an annual planning previously defined

• Ensure daily work based on FS systems incomes for IVC tests
• Ensure that QDA inputs are daily and correctly filled in
• Coordinate IVC FS daily reports
• Prepare and validate IVC daily reports for conform and non-conform results
• When necessary, be able to repeat and/or perform IVC tests such as:
  • Venting
  • Leakage
  • Microscope Analysis
  • Welding destructive tests
  • …
• Be able to perform IVC tests out of the standards in collaboration with the requester – specific request
• Ensure that Sharepoint inputs are daily and correctly filled in

Responsibility 2: Ensure that all means at the IVC laboratory are working properly and calibrated

• Optimize and ensure the equipment utilization
• Follow and track equipment calibration based on Omegatech organization defined
• Ensure that all means are working properly
• Actively participate in laboratory maintenance meetings and definitions
• Support the tracking and purchase of spare parts for all means (small parts such as sensors, thickness gauge…)

Responsibility 3: Promote and support IVC quality documentation

• Keep / develop and optimize IVC documentation based on team expertise development
• Ensure that IVC tests procedures are linked with the real procedure applied on the laboratory
• Ensure the respect of Business Group Instructions, Quality guidelines

Responsibility 4: Support plants requests and search for additional technical information about the tests when needed

• Prepare clear presentations explaining tests results to the plants when needed
• Contact with OPmobility Business Group plants worldwide for clarifications and additional information about the test product
• Support plants, when needed, on IVC 8D initial analysis and brainstorming

Responsibility 5: Manage QDA, configurations, standard QDA templates and new inspection plan

• Define inspection plans (Control Plan) for all new products inside of QDA systems
• Ensure QDA correct codification and utilization
• Support technicians on daily IS&S and report issues

Responsibility 6: Ensure that the technical information for new products is available based on process established

• Ensure that Technical Information is available at the right time for new products (new SOPs), based on IVC planning and PLM data
• When needed, request to the Project Quality Engineer & Project Application Engineer additional missing information related to the new product to be tested

Responsibility 7: Support to develop IVC as a center of excellence for functional and destructive tests

• Optimize daily work based on tests good practices
• Improve IVC tests and method based on Warranty feedback
• Coordinate IVC visits

• Support to coordinate IVC NCs with C-Power plants when for minor non-conformities are defined, based on plants requests
• Participate in plant 8Ds for IVC major non-conformities when IVC Manager is not available
• Promote training on testes benches when needed
• IVC Manager Proxy in case of absence
• Daily contact with worldwide Technical Centers
• In charge of material replacement for the test benches

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Personal Background

• Mechanical / Electronic Engineer or graduated Technician with at least 5 years’ experience in Quality/Functional tests
• Expert in Fuel system testing (destructive and functional tests)
• Software skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Invision, SAP, QDA
• Language skills: Chinese and fluent level of English
