MISSION

In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization

• The CAD Engineer plans and executes the product modeling (3D) & drawings (2D) activities to meet product and process design requirements within program timing and budget constraints. 
• He/she releases CAD data (3D/2D) for tooling, fixture, finishing machine and other test & equipment designs.

Responsibilities & Activities

Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including the related activities and eventual authorities

Responsibility 1: plans and executes the product modeling (3D) & drawings (2D) activities

• Prepare design timesheet for assigned program.
• Review all CAD data from OEM with PAE, CAD Manager and other associates
• Initial product modeling to support quotation and customer technical presentation.
• Perform all works such as modeling (3D) / Drawing (2D) in accordance with customer CAD environments / requirements and design guideline.
• Execute volume/venting/gauging simulations with VEGA tools.
• Review the design with GPS

Responsibility 2: releases CAD data (3D/2D)

• Release 3D/2D CAD data to customers such as OEM, mold shop, tier2 suppliers by strictly apply data transfer procedure.

Responsibility 3: Safety and Quality system

• Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.
• Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Support and follow the POAI quality system.

Responsibility 4:Safety

• He/she have authority to stop machines in case of immediate risk.
• Consciously accept safety training, actively participate in safety activities and comply with safety regulations;
• Report unsafe status and behaviors in time, and actively participate in safety improvement.
• Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Personal Background

• Bachelor degree in an engineering or equivalent experience
• One to two years design experience preferred with CATIA and UG

Job Technical skills

• Master GD&T, CATIA and UG NX
• Good knowledge of Fuel System Design
• Office Computer knowledge (MS Office)
• Solid modeling and model surfacing with CATIA System
• Good understanding of development and quality process
• Basic understanding of common technologies used in metrology, manufacturing and laboratory environments

Job Soft skills

• Ability to read/write engineering drawings
• English verbal, written communication skills
