MISSION

Partner with WUH plant business departments to diagnose organizational issues and develop HR strategies to improve performance and culture, strictly comply with PO China HR policy and company policy.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including all related activities under each area

Policy & Process:

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external within WUH Plant that govern HR processes/practices;
  • Make recommendations for change in policies and practices as appropriate; conduct thorough investigations as needed;
  • Introduces/ implements HR related policies & processes into WUH Plant.

 

Recruitment

  • Understand business trends, objectives and requirements, working out plant HR planning/headcount forecast to fulfill business requirements;
  • Drive, together with business leaders, anticipate business evolution or activity changes by managing the business workforce flexibility needs appropriately;
  • Be responsible for Hiring plan, direct take blue-collars’ recruitment and support central HR team for hiring white-collars in WUH Plant

 

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs by performance appraisal , development review; Steers competency Management, training delivery  and Vocational Training Management  ( if applicable);
  • Help in finding suitable learning solutions from internal and external offerings to meet the needs;
  • Be responsible for People Review activities in WUH Plant, support department on promotion, retention, talent development and succession plan, with monthly action plan follow-up;
  • Training & Development activities organized and implemented in plant.

 

Performance Management:

  • Be responsible for performance management in plant, including monthly bonus assessment, quarterly bonus assessment, AAR for M&Es and Annual Working Assessment for others.
  • Performance monitoring and improvement actions follow up

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Plant overtime management. Continuously focus on Overtime control, OT application, Time-off arrangement, Unreasonable OT elimination, working-hours respected, HR regular follow up, etc.
  • Monitor and make sure plant attendance management in Gaia attendance system.
  • Plant Payroll related information/datum providing and validation.

 

Employee Relations:

  • Maintain positive employee relations whilst reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance;
  • Resolve employee relations issues effectively and improve employees satisfaction;
  • Reinforce internal communications utilizing various means, to ensure that managers and employees clearly understand expectations on them.
  • Plant CSR activities.

 

Corporate Culture & Administration:

  • Support WUH Plant manager to promote company culture, carry out annual activity plan and implement;
  • Plant general affairs management, like office 5S, Canteen, Shuttle bus and so on;
  • Logistics arrangement of VP or customer visiting;

 

Budget & Reporting:

  • Headcount and Labor cost forecast on monthly basis;
  • Yearly HR budget
  • Ensure all legal, Corporate, Division and regional HR reporting are done in due time with accurate data
  • Keep plant indicators updated, analyze data and set according progress plans or corrective actions
  • Prepare external audits in plant (quality system, labor laws…)

 

Other tasks assigned by line manager

 

  • He/she have authority to stop machines in case of immediate risk.
  • Consciously accept safety training, actively participate in safety activities and comply with safety regulations;
  • Report unsafe situation and behavior timely;
  • Follow up the progress of the department's TSV and unsafe status report monthly.
  •  Proactively promote the improvement of safety issues in this department.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

 

Personal Background

  • Bachelor degree, Human Resources management or relevant;
  • 3-5 years solid working experience in HR functions; prefer working experience in automotive industry.

 

 

Job Technical skills

  • Familiar with HR all functions;
  • Well understanding of China Labor Law and local personnel and labor regulations;
  • Must be computer literate i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

 

 

Job Soft skills

  • Good command of English in writing and speaking;
  • Good cross functional communication skills;
  • Initiative, self-motivated, good team working spirit and willing to work under pressure.
