SILS Manager

  • Ensure the proper operation of the facilities, making sure and verifying that all SILS personnel comply with the specified guidelines.
  • Communicate and report on SILS operations to management, ensuring that needs are communicated in a timely manner. Promote and propose improvements in line with the guidelines established by the Safety and Continuous Improvement departments.
  • Provide support to the various customer departments whenever requested.
  • Complete daily documentation.
  • Verify customer forecasts.
  • Approve process parameters, tests, and measurements.
  • Provide support in quality, logistics, and production.
  • Communicate requirements and hold meetings with Management.
  • Hold regular meetings with the Projects and Logistics teams.
  • Propose and promote improvements while maintaining a high level of continuous improvement.
  • Manage all Safety, Quality, Production, and Human Resources documentation.
  • Maintain contact with the Customer’s various departments.
  • Authorize shift changes between employees.
  • Be responsible for the implementation and application of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout).
  • Supervise the work of Line Leaders and replace them in their role when absent.
  • Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance activities, review PY, TPM, and breakdowns. Record working times accurately and promptly in SAP.
  • Monitor downtime and micro-stoppages, as well as action plans. Record preventive and corrective maintenance times in SAP and monitor KPIs, OEE, and OLE.
  • Implement actions resulting from Top Safety observations and Near Miss reports.
  • Manage maintenance spare parts inventory and order the necessary materials.
  • Organize plant audits related to Quality, 5S, and LPA.
  • Manufacture spare parts.
  • Supervise housekeeping and cleanliness standards on the production line and throughout the plant.
