MISSION

 

  • Promote safety culture in its area of responsibilities
  • Designe ans implement the Supply-Chain & Packaging solutions for WEPRO, or Productivity projects
  • Provide input and quotes during the RFQ phases
  • Define and implement recycling flows ans waste management


RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

 

Ensures that safety policies are understood and respected within his area of responsibilities

 

RFQ consultation phase :

 

  • Defines the optimum supply-chain organization, human resources, means, necessary in order to guarantee Safety, Customer Service and Quality while Costs and Inventories are kept minimum
  • Calculates the supply-chain & Packaging budget of the project (cost per part, investments, …) 
  • Makes sure that the quotation is based on the use of standard equipments and processes
  • Identifies and escalate any industrial risks

 

Project development phase

 

  •  Applies POMS and Supply-Chain standards
  • Defines and develops the supply-chain scheme from suppliers to customers : physicals flows, information flows, outbound, inbound, internal plant, always being in contact with Manufacturing project managers and plants
  • Defines optimum stock levels at each step of the process, with a focus on Lead Time optimization
  • Develops the functional specifications for semi-finished packaging means and final packaging from the customer specification, the industrial organization and the production units’ constraints, in cooperation with Industrial Engineers, Plant Project Leaders (PPLs) and plant engineers
  • Ensures fine tuning and reception of packaging means, their availability for the trials at each step of the project development, until eventually customers approval and until objectives are met
  • Takes part to the functional definition of the related information systems, in relation with INGOAL
  • Designs the layout of inbound, internal and outbound flows / Dimension the storage areas
  • Analyses the impacts of perimeter evolutions on the organization, resources, Packaging types and investments and Supply Chain’s costs. 
  • Participates to the suppliers selection process with Purchasing (Transport, SILS, Platforms, Packaging, Dynamic storage), Provide a technical validation of the selected solutions
  • Document and implement supply-chain processes and policies
  • Manages logistics FMEA and audits, if any needed
  • Provides support to the plant during the start of production and ramp-up phases
     

 

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

 

Personal Background

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree with 8/10 years experience.

  • Languages : French and English mandatory, German will be a plus.

 

Job Technical skills and softskills

 

  • Openness to new ideas
  • Good understanding of lean principles and supply-chain tools
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including the ability to work with a 3D viewer software
  • Computer literacy
  • Dedication to safety 
  • Knowledge of logistic flow simulation tools

 

  • Customer orientation / Leadership / Team spirit / Autonomy
  • Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication / English mandatory
