Junior BU Finance Controller – Munich, Germany

 

Job description

 

You will support the Central Europe Controlling Team and contribute to the financial performance monitoring and steering of the Region. This role provides strong exposure to financial reporting, controlling processes, and digitalization initiatives within an international organization.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial KPI reporting for the Region, including Gross Margin, CAPEX, overdue receivables, inventories, and other key performance indicators
  • Monitoring and supporting core financial controlling processes, such as monthly closings, rolling forecasts, budgeting cycles, and strategic planning activities
  • Following up on SG&A costs and management fees for the Munich Headquarters, and supporting the monthly closing process in close collaboration with the Central Europe controlling team
  • Supporting the Regional controlling team with ad hoc financial analyses, variance analyses, and management presentations to support decision‑making
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of digital tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of controlling activities

 

This position offers valuable hands‑on experience in regional controlling, close interaction with multiple stakeholders, and the opportunity to develop strong analytical and digital skills in a dynamic, international environment.

 

Profile

 

You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance from an engineering school or university and have a strong and clear analytical mindset. You are used to working with deadlines due to financial closings.

You are open minded and with a serious desire to embark on an international career. A first experience or internship in the automotive sector can be a plus, as well as a first experience in professional negotiation. You have knowledge in the Microsoft Package (Excel, PPT, Word,…) and knowledge about SAP, POWER BI & HFM.

 

You are fluent in English and German is a plus.
