Junior HR Generalist – Munich, Germany
Job description
As an HR Generalist based in our Munich Headquarters, you will receive structured support and training to build a solid understanding of the German HR framework, labor law, and social environment. This role offers hands‑on exposure to core HR activities while working closely with employees, managers, and international HR stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative and operational HR support to employees and managers at the German Headquarters, acting as a first point of contact for day‑to‑day HR matters
- Supporting HR administrative processes and general employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, contract administration, and personnel data maintenance
- Managing trainee and intern populations, including coordination, follow‑up, and support throughout their assignment
- Acting as an interface with payroll, ensuring accurate data flow and supporting payroll‑related questions in collaboration with internal and external partners
This role offers international exposure and early responsibilities in a dynamic and collaborative working environment, with strong opportunities to develop HR expertise and build a long‑term career within the company.
Profile
You are open minded and with a serious desire to embark on an international career. A first experience or internship in the automotive sector can be a plus, as well as a first experience in professional negotiation. You have knowledge in the Microsoft Package (Excel, PPT, Word,…)
Your English is fluent and another language is a plus.
You are a highly motivated young graduate from a university or business school with a focus on Human Resources Management. You have a first experience in that field. You are a team player, a self-learner and you have demonstrated some leadership and good communication skills.
You are open-minded and with a serious desire to learn, and you can demonstrate a clear willingness to embark on an international career. You are also rigorous and customer-oriented.
You are fluent in English and German.
